Jordí Solé

More than 25 years ago, Jordi discovered, by chance or by accident, that humour can be a tool for life. After this revelation in a clown course, he decided to change his life path and dedicate himself to the art of making people laugh. He studied theatre, dance, pantomime, commedia dell’arte and, of course, clowning. 

He soon realised that you don’t just learn by studying, but by doing and trying things out. He therefore became involved in various artistic projects, including the duo Carlo-Mô & Mr Di, with whom he produced several shows and founded the clown school Factoría Dimô.

He discovered the power of street theatre alongside Eléctrico 28 with the troupes Kamchatka and the newly founded duo Street Fools. But life made him realise that humour can also be a very serious thing and since 2016 Jordi has been working with the hospital clowns Pallapupas, where he became the artistic director a few years ago. This has revealed a new cornerstone in Jordi’s artistic vision: making theatre  to move, to trigger a transformation of emotions and life experiences. To generate humour in order to create a better world. As he begins to work with Eléctrico 28, everything takes shape and he is able to integrate emotion, humour and transformation into the company’s creations and performances.
